It is no longer news that Engr. Chinedu Onyeizu is a passionate young leader vying to represent the entirety of Abia South in the Red Chamber. Detractors of the forward-thinking leader have however attempted to misconstrue his message with devious propaganda.
Truthfully speaking, it might seem as though this is the first time such a muscle is being pulled by a young Nigerian on a keenly contested platform such as The Senate, but the events unfolding around Engr. Chinedu’s political career and his growing popularity among well-meaning Abians is a testament that indeed, our mumu don do!
In the heat of this political season, Ndi Abia South must not fall to any ill-fated message. We must remain resolute to enthrone a man capable of changing the narrative of Abia South. The numerous people who support Onyeizu do not support him just because he is young, even though quite frankly, that is a good yardstick; they do because among other towering credentials and accomplishments, he feels the pains of Ndi Abia South and is ready to deliver.
In the words of Nelson Mandela, real leaders must be able to sacrifice all for the freedom of their people. Over the years, Chinedu Onyeizu has shown an impeccable leadership might by catering to the lowly among his people. At a time when no one was watching, when no applause resounded and no one was taking note, Onyeizu blazed the trail of selfless leadership in his space. He showed that indeed, leaders are not people who perform sycophantic services for personal gain, but those who through selflessness serve as true stewards.
Onyeizu listens to his people. It is true that leadership comes with great responsibility, but even with his busy schedules, Onyeizu makes time to listen to his people. He caters to their welfare like they were his own siblings and it is without doubt that a man of such enviable trait, will listen to the cries of Ndi Abia South.
The current situation of Ndi Abia South greatly alludes to the Biblical assertion that the creation has long waited and groaned for the manifestation of the sons of God. Thus, the son of God, Engr. Chinedu Onyeizu, has been manifested to lead Ndi Abia South to the zenith of their potential.
Ndi Abia South, we are indeed blessed, but like a diamond in the rough, we need the expertise of an experienced miner who will deploy necessary tools in bringing out a tremendous finished product. Life and death have been set before us. Let us choose life for our today and the sake of our future generations.
