COUNTING DOWN TO THE GENERAL ELECTIONS

 

Ndi Abia South, we are now three days to the general elections.

Everything that should be said has been said and all my plans have been laid out before you.

I now depend on your rational ability to make the right decision in this election. Remember, you will be directly affected by whatever decision you make on Saturday. 

You can either vote a Senator who has wasted 16 years of your life doing absolutely nothing. A Senator whose only achievement was upholding the integrity of the seats in the Red Chamber.

Even as a Minority Leader, he cannot point to a tangible project he began and successfully completed. He says he is made in Aba but the same Aba that nurtured and shaped him into the person he is today, cannot compete favourably with other commercial cities in terms of infrastructure and security.

He testifies that Abia South is blessed but what did he do with all that blessing?

His counterpart, the current governor of Abia State, who is also vying for your votes is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He promotes himself as a working governor with his audio projects, but let's not forget that he built only one flyover in eight years as against his counterparts in other parts of Nigeria.

How can you give your vote again to the man whose "Center Table," flyover project ridiculed the entirety of Abia State before its completion? 

Remember how he insinuated that he had not completed that project because Abians were indigent to the point of being unable to afford a car.

Surely, you cannot forget!

I, Engr Chinedu Onyeizu, is coming to you with a clean sheet. I know that we cannot expect positive change if we keep recycling corrupt politicians whose only credential is sugar-coated words.

If you give me your vote this Saturday, I will ensure that I pay it forth with remarkable accomplishments. You will not need to be told because you will indeed kota sign!
