The Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN) has announced the opening of their new secretariat in Abuja’s highbrow area of Asokoro. You may recall that upon assumption of their positions, after the election on June 29th 2017, the new FTAN Executive members promised to hit the ground running. They pledged to be proactive in spearheading tourism development in Nigeria, using FTAN as the catalyst.
Since the founding of FTAN, their Secretariat had always been donated by prominent members of the Federation free of charge; the last person was Chief Tomi Akingbogun, who allowed FTAN to use a hall in his prestigious Hotel Rosebud Abuja for about four years.
