The Epistles Of Christ!

…Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart (2 Corinthians 3:1-3).

As you study the Word of God, it’s important not to miss the salient points the Spirit of God wants you to grasp. An example of such powerful and important truth is what the Apostle Paul communicates in our opening scripture: we’re the epistles of Christ. What does this mean? It means we’re God’s message; His Word! Halleluiah!

Paul said, "Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart" (2 Corinthians 3:3). Here, he lets us know why we’re the epistles of Christ. Christ is the Word of God; now Paul says we’re the Word of Christ; you’re a message. No wonder He says you’re the light of the world. God is using you to give a message to the world every day; you’re manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ, written by the Spirit of the living God!

That’s why you’re so peculiar! John wrote concerning Jesus, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth" (John 1:14). When they saw Jesus in Bible days, they saw the Word; He was the Word that talked, walked, and lived amongst them. No wonder they called Him "Emmanuel," meaning "God with us!"
However, today, in the New Testament, anyone who wants to see the Word of God should look at you! You’re the epistle of Christ today. So, when you study the New Testament, you’re looking at you. Someone might say, "No; that can’t be; only Jesus qualifies to be so described." No! James 1:18 says, "Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth…"; meaning that you’re born of the Word of God. If you’re born of the Word of God, then you’re one with the Word. Jesus is the Word of God made flesh. We’re the offspring of the Word of God. So, who are we? The Word—His epistles! Glory to God!

Confession
I’m not an ordinary person; I’m the epistle of Christ. When men look at me, they see the manifestation of the Word of God. I’m a message read of all men, through whom many are coming to the knowledge of Christ! Glory to God!
