In
a ceremonial launch at the post office building, the publishers of 9ineteen
Magazine have begun the search for the Most Beautiful Abian that would take
home the coveted royal crown in the maiden edition of the pageant.
Most
Beautiful Abian will be an annual pageant that holds every February. The maiden
promises to be exciting as mouth-watering prizes have
been lined up for the winner and
the runners-up. The deserving winners will be rewarded
with an Official Car, feature in most fashion shows in
Nigeria, represent Abia State in a National Pageant, grace
major Runway Shows, 9ineteen Brand Ambassador and many other Award and Prizes.
Most Beautiful Abia is an
ultimate beauty pageant that has been established to celebrate the beauty and
brains and empower Abia youths providing them the opportunity to grow as well
rounded individuals.
MBA Beauty Pageant project saw
it fit to search for youths who are willing to become brand ambassadors in Abia
State and work with them to promote discipline, advocacy, leadership, beauty,
elegance, self-development, etiquette and entrepreneurship in order to make Abia
a better and beautiful place.
The delegates who become part
of Most Beautiful Abia Beauty Pageant will gain confidence and poise in an
increasing competitive world; the pageant will also afford each delegate to
grow and advance their personal and career goals while acting as role models in
the community while seeking to meet these objectives:
1. To celebrate the beauty of brains and
empower Abia youths, providing them the opportunity to grow as well rounded
individuals.
2. In line with Africa’s entrepreneurial
reawakening to promote Abia State as a desirable business hub with a view of
attracting international business tycoons especially Africans in Diaspora.
3. To promote discipline, advocacy, leadership, beauty, elegance,
self-development, etiquette and entrepreneurship in order to make Abia a better
and beautiful place.
Most
Beautiful Abian is open to young girls in Abia age 17 – 27 years with minimum
qualification of high school result.
