President Buhari’s absence at the ongoing AU Summit sparked
controversy today when his statements on Nepad were read by a
representative, urging NEPAD to prioritise industrialisation,
infrastructure, women empowerment, regional integration at the ongoing
summit and according to media reports, the President had arrived South
Africa last night.
Turns out the president’s plane took off at 8:49am this morning from
Abuja. And he had left in the company of the governors of Benue and Ogun
state for the AU summit
