I hope you're all having a superb week. Following my response to the Honourable Governor yesterday refuting his allegations that characterized me as a tax-defaulter, we got a tremendous amount of direct messages, emails and comments from a lot of you. The reason I came out strongly against the Governor yesterday was because he has begun to make a habit of peddling false claims about our campaign and it was important that we set the record straight in order for the voters to make informed, and not skewed, decisions in this election.
That said, on this particular matter, this was in fact not our first push-back. I had released a statement addressing the Honourable Governor's claims earlier this month and we had provided scanned copies of tax receipts, land use notification letters highlighting our interactions with the Lagos State Government over a period of about 8-years (2007-2015).
